What should I do if my pH pen or probe has dried out?

If your Bluelab pen or probe has dried out, then it must be rehydrated in a KCI storage solution for 24 hours (Bluelab recommends that you never use RO, distilled, or deionised water for this process). After, rinse the probe/pen in fresh tap water and then soak it in new 4.0 pH Calibration Solution for at least 10 minutes. The probe or pen should be calibrated to two different points to ensure it has not suffered permanent damage.

How long do Bluelab pH pens tend to last?
